Commission Rates
All prices are subject to change based on complexity and time.
All commissions require a deposit of 50% of the agreed price at the beginning of the project, and the remaining balance paid before final files are delivered.

Commissions for Personal use
£60+
A personal commission means that the work will not be used in any commercial projects. This type of commission applies to things such as gifts for friends and family, or you might have a personal project which you do not intend to make profit from. I charge a minimum of £60 for this, which may increase depending on the complexity of the task.
Commissions for Commercial use
£120+
This type of commission is for promotional artwork, whether this be your band/ company/ book/ game etc. Examples - cover art for book, comic book, game, music release etc. This type of commission will give you commercial rights to the image - you can use it in advertising, merchandise production etc.

Timeline and work-process
Projects usually take a minimum of 2 weeks, however depending on the subject of the commission, this could be considerably shorter or longer.
[Note: I will accept projects with a fast turn around at an additional cost.]
I prefer to have client input as I work on the project. I'll keep you updated as I progress, and together we can decide on key design choices in real-time. This allows you to have a greater influence on the outcome.
There is not a set number of revisions and will happily change things as we go along, provided they aren't extreme alterations.
Licensing
Non-commercial License:
-Personal commissions are licensed for non-commercial use. You may use that image for your own needs, without commercial profit. I won't use that commissioned art for anything other than my portfolio and social media, unless agreed otherwise (include this in your initial email).
Commercial License:
-Commercial commissions are for commercial use. This will allow you to use the artwork however you want in multiple commercial projects. I’m not able to sell your art to anyone else, but I still own my moral rights to the image (Berne Convention Article 6bis) and ability to use that work for self promotion.
What to do if you are interested
Email me directly at joshmkcrompton@gmail.com the description of your project as well as its deadline. Although not necessary, a mood board or just some reference images are helpful. The clearer your descriptions are - the more accurate the outcome will be. Due to a busy workflow, it may take a few days for me to get to your email, if I’m not responding it means I’m busy, not ignoring you.
